  • sightseeing in Shirdi:

    At first you will start your tour  by visiting saibaba shrine where his mortal remains beneath the earth. beside the shrine their is a peace of zen where baba use to spend his lot of time. and dhuni a sacred fire will be burning and the ash is smeared on Devotees, and one can also have a look on Chavadi wher baba use to spend his time every alternative night. Lendi Baug is a garden made by sai baba and a light house was constructed where a lamp is kept burning whole day as as sign of respect.

  • Shopping in Shirdi:

    There are lot’s of  shops in Shirdi that sell photos and effigies of Sai Baba. which  is the main commercial activity. The shops open as early as 7 am and close late, at around 10:30 pm and you will regret if you don’t take any picture back home with you so make sure you purchase one or the other thing in shirdi.

  • Activities in Shirdi:

    Apart from visiting the Samadhi Mandir, there are no major  outdoor activities in Shirdi. but You may visit the Dixit Wada Museum in Shirdi where belongings of Shri Sai Baba have been treasured and safe guarded.
    And importantly you can go to Wet N Joy Water Park, near Sun-n-Sand Hotel and take part in numerous water sports.

    Their are two places in Shirdi that one can visit on a whole day trip that is Shani Shingnapur and Nashik .
    Shani Shingnapur is a pilgrimage village located 70 kms from Shirdi. Apart from popular Shani Dev Temple, Shani Shingnapur is also Known for the fact that there are no doors to homes in the village but only the door frames. Shri Dattatraya Temple and the tomb of Sant Shri Udasi Baba are other two places to visit in Shani Shingnapur.

    Another place worth visiting near Shirdi is Nashik, located at a distance of 75 kms away from Shirdi. Nashik is popular for rich culture, lot of temples and religious sites including Panchavati, Naroshankar Temple, Kalaram Temple, and Sundarnarayan Temple. Naroshankar Temple is an architectural marvel that has been built in ‘Maya’ style and dates back to the 18th century. Other prominent places that you may visit in Nashik include Shri Kailas Math and Pandavleni Caves.

  • Eating Out in Shirdi:

    There are lot of  local restaurants in Shirdi. Most of them located around the temple. Most restaurants offer vegetarian Food while hotels mainly opt to those looking for non vegetarian food. Woodlands Restaurant is located opposite the Sai baba Mandir in Shirdi and offers fine Indian cuisine.

  • Festivals and Events in Shirdi:

    There are 3 major festivals in Shirdi and attract thousands of devotees across the world. These are Ramnavami (end March), Guru Purnima (Full Moon) and Shirdi Vijayadashmi (3rd week October). These festivals are celebrated all across India with equal zest but at Shirdi the celebrations are distinct. The distinction is the association of Saibaba himself which adds to the fervor of these festivals.
